One of the biggest names in world football and a perennial football betting favourite for the Ballon d’Or, Jude Bellingham’s journey from promising teenager at Birmingham City to Real Madrid Galactico is the fairy tale stuff.
Bellingham has taken matches by the scruff of the neck for England, turning the sports betting markets on their head.
At club level, he’s shone on the greatest stages, often outperforming his Los Blancos star peers.
Young English talents are often overhyped. That’s not been the case with Bellingham. He’s been everything – and more – that the most optimistic evaluations projected him for when he was a teenager putting Birmingham on his back.
How Much Is Jude Bellingham Worth?
As of August 2025, Bellingham’s net worth is estimated to be £40 million.
On a massive contract at Real Madrid and one of the biggest sports stars in the world, look for Bellingham’s net worth figure to soar in the coming years.
A cover star of EA Sports’ FC 25, Bellingham wears Adidas boots and has endorsement deals with Lucozade, Louis Vuitton, Skims, and McDonald's.
Exact details for his income from sponsorships aren’t publicly available, but the fact he has a signature boot and his own ‘JB Line’ with Adidas means it’s likely to be a huge figure.
Salary
Bellingham signed a six-year contract with Real Madrid when he joined the club in June 2023. According to AS, his deal pays him £327,000 per week, which made him the eighth-highest earner in Real Madrid at the time of his transfer.
Frenkie de Jong and Robert Lewandowski were two of the players earning more than Bellingham at the time. The other five were his new teammates at Real Madrid. Kylian Mbappe, who joined 12 months after Bellingham, will have overtaken Bellingham’s salary figure.
Real Madrid Transfer
Bellingham signed for Real Madrid in the summer of 2023 for a fee of £88.5 million, potentially rising to £115 million.
It is the biggest transfer fee ever paid by Real Madrid, narrowly pipping the sum they splashed on Eden Hazard. As of August 2025, only 13 transfers in football history have carried a bigger price tag.
Bellingham had been named Bundesliga Player of the Season in 2022/23. Liverpool had once been considered the favourites to land the teenage phenom, but once Real came calling, it was a no-brainer for Bellingham.
Bellingham said, "It was a bit of a surprise when my dad sat me down and said: 'You've had a bit of interest from Real Madrid.'
"I think that was maybe about 12-15 months ago. When he said that I had goosebumps, my heart was close to stopping. It's something you don't expect growing up - being able to play for a team like this."
He denied money was a deciding factor.
"Money is not a thing for me. I don't think about money at all when I make these kind of decisions. I never have and will - I play the game purely out of love…
"It wasn't a case of other teams are bad or they weren't good but, for me, Madrid is the greatest."
He added, "A club like Madrid and its fans and the people who work for the club deserve to have trophies every year. This year they didn't manage to get La Liga and the Champions League.
"That is the standard I want to help the club reach, where they can compete for these honours very closely every year.”
Brother
Jude Bellingham’s younger brother is Jobe Bellingham. Jobe has followed in his brother’s footsteps, first breaking onto the scene at Birmingham City as a teenager before joining Borussia Dortmund. Unlike Jude, Jobe also had a brief stop with Sunderland before signing at Signal Iduna Park.
Comparisons have inevitably been made between the siblings. There are similarities in their physiques and play styles, but Jobe has opted to wear his forename on the back of his shirt as he looks to build his own reputation at the highest level.
Following Jobe’s transfer to Dortmund, Jude spoke to Bundesliga.com.
"It's beautiful, I have to say; I'm really happy for my brother. There was a big discussion for him in relation to the decisions he could have made but I think that, looking at it now, and from the perspective of the decision that he has made, I'm really happy.
"I know the people at Dortmund and the fans there will look after him and support him and I know that he will deliver as well. I'm really proud that that step at Dortmund continues for my family.
"It's worth noting that this is his story now. I had a brilliant time in Dortmund and [enjoyed] wonderful times there but now it's all about him and I'm really proud of him."
Unfortunately, Jobe’s suspension at the Club World Cup prevented an on-field meeting between Dortmund and Real Madrid, but the pair are bound to have opportunities to share the field in the future.
Lucozade
Bellingham agreed a multi-year deal as a Lucozade ambassador ahead of Euro 2024. As the face of the ‘Bring the Energy’ campaign, Bellingham starred in a TV advert and has been front and centre of Lucozade branding nationwide.
In March 2025, Lucozade Sport Ice Kick was launched, featuring Bellingham on the bottle.
